Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox, who studied for three year in the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s was accepted. The money she earned came from an allowance for students and went off on a part-time job to supplement her budget. Lennox was of the opinion that her talents were inferior to those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she thought about alternative paths she could take. Lennox was a flute player in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. She quit the group shortly before their appearance in I.T.V's Talent program New Faces. The main part of her role was the lead singer in The Tourists from 1977 until in 1980. There she made friends with Dave Stewart who would later create Eurythmics.
