Ally Sheedy Bio

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born August 15 the 15th of August, 1970) is an American actor from the United States. In 1983, Sheedy debuted on screen in Bad Boys. Later she joined the Bratpack group as well as a participant in WarGames The Breakfast Club Short Circuit. The performance of Sheedy in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art won her the Independent Spirit Award Best Female Actress in a Leading Role. Sheedy was married to David Lansbury (the nephew of Angela Lansbury) on April 12,1992. David is also the son Edgar Lansbury, who was originally the producer of Godspell. They also have one son, Beckett, born in 1994. Sheedy said she has learned a great deal from Beckett. Alexandra Elizabeth Ally Sheedy - born June 13th, 1962 is an American author and actress. She has also worked in film, stage, television. Her most well-known work is her role in the Brat Pack movies The Breakfast Club and St. Elmo's Fire. The Breakfast Club is the title of a John Hughes movie. The significance behind the film's name "The Breakfast Club" is derived from the nickname some schools have for detention. It is likely that students will be getting up early for breakfast time. It's the Next Generation. Sheedy has added the term "teacher" in her extensive resume. She's brought her students who are acting under her wing in the City College of New York City.
